A New Chapter: Farewell to Untangled Family Roots

As many of you know, my journey in genealogy has led me to not only uncover fascinating stories of my ancestors but also to a deeper passion: writing about their lives in a way that brings their histories to life. After much thought and reflection, I’ve decided to say goodbye to my old blog, Untangled Family Roots. This blog will remain accessible, full of the countless stories and research I’ve shared over the years, but I’m now taking the next step in my journey.

With my growing love for storytelling, I’ve decided to rebrand and retire Untangled Family Roots in favor of a new venture that aligns with my current journey. So, I’m excited to announce that The Ancestral Pen is now my new home on the web!

Why the change? After uncovering so many rich stories from my family tree, I felt it was time to move from simply untangling family roots to using those stories to create something even more special—fictionalized accounts that honor my ancestors while engaging a broader audience. It’s time to focus on what I’ve always loved to do: write.

But don’t worry—this blog will remain up so you can revisit any of the stories, tips, and research I’ve shared. While some of these posts may find a new home at The Ancestral Pen, I will no longer be posting new content here. Instead, I’m inviting you to join me on my new journey.
